The Score of Things is a participatory music game in which chance determines each participant’s role within a shared performance.

Participants draw cards that randomly assign them to one of five instrument groups, or to the role of conductor. Each instrument group follows its own line within a graphic notation score, interpreting it through movement, gesture, or voice while using costumes and objects from the existing exhibition as instruments. A randomly selected conductor leads the ensemble from a master score.

Each session produces a composition shaped by chance, collective interpretation, and the participants themselves.
